Frogleste. 🐸
Fun game, good job!
I have some praises and complaints about this game. First, the artwork is gorgeous, everything is so detailed! That's where my praises end. The controls are stiff and unresponsive. I couldn't figure out how to beat the first level. There is some green thing that I think is important but it doesn't seem to do anything.
Also, the game doesn't automatically reload when you fall into a pit. Overall, I could see that you are putting a lot of passion into this game, but as it stands, it is not worth playing. I hope that you continue to work on this game and make it the best it could possibly be.
Thank you so much for playing! The green gem recharges your dash. I will admit, some of the mechanics that I am using might not be fully obvious because I used them from Celeste. I plan to add more tutorial for a few components such as the gem. I didn’t realize that the controls felt stiff to other people. I will go through and make them a little more responsive. Thank you for the feedback!
No problem!
I updated the file! Hopefully the movement should be more snappy and I added a bit of tutorial for the gem. I’ll check back in the morning. Thank you so much for the testing!
The tutorial section is now glitched; some of the blocks are invisible.
I fixed the invisible issue. Thanks!
